Velachery
Honors Hygiene Workers with Royal Dinner
RAJAVIRUNTHU
A Feast For Our Kings & Queens
The true heroes of Velachery are its sanitation workers, whose tireless service, especially after Cyclone Michaung, deserved our deepest respect. To honour them, we organized “Rajavirundhu” — a royal feast for these “unsung Rajas and Ranis.” It was our privilege to seat over 150 of these dedicated workers on thrones and serve them a grand dinner. This event was a small gesture of immense gratitude for the true guardians of our community’s health and well-being.
